The idea of blending technology, passion, and performance drives Porsche Design brand since 1972. And one of the icons of the 50Y Anniversary Collection is the Porsche Design 50Y Sunglasses P‘8478 model. This exclusive frame is remarkable for its droplet-shaped lenses and revolutionary interchangeable lens mechanism. The 50Y special version brings the iconic design into present moment.

For the first time in these 50 years, this model goes with almost flat base 2 curve lenses but the mechanism with brilliant interchangeable lens system remains the same. This iconic model has two options of lenses that can be easily interchanged – one is the VISION DRIVETM polarized lenses made from scratchproof, unbreakable polycarbonate in gray color and another one is Olive Silver Mirror lenses. The matt black frame made from 100% ultra-lightweight titanium with satin-gloss platinum finish combines perfectly with the tones of both pairs of lenses. The 50Y sunglasses P‘8478 are of the Capsule Collection and are limited worldwide to 1,972 units.

Each unit is supplied in exclusive 50Y gift box that includes leather strap with Porsche Design branding and 50Y microfiber cleaning cloth.
