Miu Miu: shades for every occasion
Although it shares the same quirky spirit that its older sister Prada, Miu Miu has grown to become a rara avis in the fashion scene. All collections are original and elegant at the same time, but with a touch of rarity hard to find in any other firm. What distinguishes its discreet eccentricity —a paradox, we know—, it’s that Miu Miu is capable of blending with astonishing ease futurism and classicism; a demure attitude with some insolent audacity; clean pure lines and bright colours. Its fashion shows and campaigns express that same philosophy. They are pieces of art that concentrate in a few minutes the whole universe of the brand. A good example is the last video for next season Fall Winter 2016, photographed by Steven Meisel, filmed and edited by Gordon von Steiner, and starred by models Maddison Brown, Hailey Gates, Mia Goth and Stacy Martin. The music is crucial to create that special unsettling atmosphere, and in this case is signed by Saunder Jurriaans and Daniel Bensi.
